The Zombie Survival Guide: Complete Protection From The Living Dead by Saturday Night Live writer Max Brooks is a must read for all of you Zombieologists (just coined that phase, send royalties).  This book is actually pretty damn detailed and informative on all things living dead.  The Zombie Survival Guide will make you laugh but most importantly keep you alive during the inevitable zombie apocalypse that is sure to consume our beautiful planet.  I'd actually prefer to be a zombie, I'm already hungry all the time and I know a few people I wouldn't mind snacking on.

For many you, without beer you wouldn't make it through the day.  For those saturated souls tired of stumbling your way to the store or pub to get your grubby mitts on a 6'er of hooch it may be time to start brewing your own hops and barley infused goodness.  Brooklyn's Brew Shop Beer Making Book gives you step by step instructions and seasonal recipes to concoct your very own beer.  I know reading is so 1999 but with 52 recipes including some for gluten free beer this ($14) delight of a book will make a great addition to your man cave.
